In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean the Chinese Business Association of Ireland, and "you" means the person using the website.

This website provides general information about the Chinese Business Association of Ireland, our members, our events and our activities, and about business between Ireland and China.

The information on it is provided for general information only.

These terms are published in English and in Simplified Chinese. The Chinese text is provided for your convenience and we intend both versions to say the same thing.

If there is any difference in meaning between the two versions, the English version applies. This is because these terms are written under Irish law and the Irish courts work in English. This rule applies only to these Terms of Use. It does not apply to our Privacy Notice or to our Cookies statement. Those two documents describe your rights over your own personal data, and we will honour those rights on the basis of whichever language version you read.

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or with your use of this website, are governed by the laws of Ireland.

The courts of Ireland have jurisdiction over any such dispute or claim.

If you are a consumer resident in another EU or EEA country, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the law of the country where you live, and you may also be able to bring proceedings in the courts of that country.

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest of them continue to apply.

If we do not enforce a right under these terms straight away, that does not mean we have given it up.
